About

This is not a normal “About” page, you have been warned :) !

I will start this with a little story,
Once upon the time it was an last free place on the world called, – “Inter-network” a.k.a Internet.
The people would like to share what they have and what they know with each other without interest, and with free / clear information. Yes , it’s just amazing don’t you think ?

After this , the same people learned that Information is Power, and with the Power comes control (Yes, I know you heard the bullshit “with power comes great responsibility” but this is relative [and most people don't apply the second part, they just stop at GREAT ..]) and this is when this people came to understand that is better to keep this information for themselves.
But with time, corruption evolves and they said: “Why we should stop, let’s make a new cool thing, let’s spread disinformation!?”
Some examples..?!

  • The first example in IT-security is “Publishing exploits HELPS Security, and Improve IT-Technology“, how many times did you hear this?, how many times did you hear “this is a good hacker [publish exploits], and this is a bad hacker [don't publish exploits]“. So they are saying that selling arms on the corners of the net helps Peace in the world :) isn’t true?
  • In deed selling arms doesn’t help peace in the world, in reality it’s just helping military industry sell his weapons and make his money, the same happens in this era of IW where security industry make his money and sell’s his products making use of script kiddies who make mass defacement terrorising the unprepared sys-admins, webmasters , companies who fly for salvation to the first”security kongo-bongo pig ho sells his philosophical disinformation crap
  • Another big dis-information is the level of security, “if you have a strong antivirus you don’t get any virus”, if you bye an Firewall + IDS + IPS + Honeypot + some fat geek RCHE engineer  [no offence for redhat guys] (they will sell it with the server :) )  your system will be *SECURE*. LOL, this is absolutely not true, the real issue this days is not Network-security but application security, and the Law of KLOC code, now this is based in this law, if you have an medium network you have also 500-900 remotely exploitable holes in your network :) , this is true buddy. Buffer overflows are old but makes the difference.
For more info (proof) read http://sites.google.com/site/zeroforowned/ (really nice guys :) )

So now , the story continues , we have many companies selling their products but still keeping real information for them selves, what I mean with this?
You just bought a switch, or router or any product. The manual it self it’s just CRAP, it don’t let you understand in reality how stuff works, and how to configure this or that, it just say  (example) “VLAN tagged port” => “Click VLAN Tagged port to tag a port :D ” and you are like => “huh?” than you are like => “whoossaaaaa” than you are saying “whoooaaaa” and then you call the company , get the engineer, pay the money and get the thing done :)

Now, albanianwizard.org is a place where you will find only pure information (at least I try to keep it clear and pure) and “open-your-mind” type of information.

Why albanianwizard?, am I a “wizard” ?
Hell no!, albanianwizard is (it was) just an old albanian hax0rs team , and I named this website by their team name.

About me?
My name is Ardit (AR means gold and DIT means Day in albanian), it’s an common albanian name , I’m interested in Linux, open-source,  network and security, I have worked and I’m currently working in this sector.
My favorite languages are MIPS-assembly and Python (PS => is not an reptile).

If you want to say something to me, please drop me an email, it doesn’t heart.
